BIOGRAPHY
Matteo R. N. Buongiorno attended the Teatro alla Scala School in Milan.
From 1979 to 1982 he attended the Bolshoi Theater School in Mosca.
In 1982 he joined de corps de ballet of the Teatro alla Scala. After a few months he was appointed soloist.
He danced leading roles in several ballets alongside international partners.
He was a guest at several galas: Tokio, Kioto, Osaka, Sarasota, Zurigo.
In 2015 he was invited to the Bolshoi Theater in Mosca as a teacher and repeater.
In 2015 he also collaborated as a masterclass teacher at the Teatro alla Scala.

Over the years he has danced leading roles in several ballets alongside international partners, including: Noelle Pointois, A. Ferri, C. Fracci, O. Dorella, E. Kant, I. Seabra, E. Edvokimova.
